Together forever.

All the girls in Bunk 9 at Camp Minnehaha wake up one morning having had the same terrible nightmare about a sinister boy in an abandoned cabin in the woods. All the girls, that is, except goody-goody Samantha Harmon. The boy in Sam’s dream was handsome, enchanting, and just so real. Even though Sam knows it’s against the rules to venture into the woods without a counselor, she sets off in search of her dream boy—and finds him! Dennis Shaw is just like the boy from Sam’s dream, and he seems really into her. The only problem is that Sam’s twin sister Ali is jealous of Sam’s new boyfriend, and she’ll stop at nothing to make him her own. But when Dennis gets a little intense and says he wants to be together forever with his dream girl, neither Sam nor Ali realizes just how long forever might be….

No trick or treating.

Halloween is more than haunted in this superscary superspecial addition to Spotlight’s popular tween horror series. When Ashley McDowell’s parents first told her they were moving from the big city to a one-stoplight farm town, she was convinced that she was going to hate living in Heaton Corners. But to Ashley’s surprise, she loves it. Everyone is super welcoming, especially her new friends. Plus, it’s October and there’s the town’s Harvest Festival, and, of course, Halloween. But when Ashley starts making plans for Halloween night, she is shocked to find out that her new friends are forbidden to go trick-or-treating. Ashley convinces them to sleep over at her house and go trick-or-treating anyway, but she soon discovers that Halloween in Heaton Corners isn’t like Halloween anywhere else. For one thing, everything seems so much more real…too real. Ashley can’t help but think that maybe Heaton Corners doesn’t need tricks and disguises to be terrifying on Halloween night… From Goodreads.

It´s all downhill from here.

Be careful on these slippery slopes… Maggie Kim´s parents have always dreamed of operating their own hotel, so when the historic Wharton Mansion goes up for sale, they see it as perfect opportunity to open their own ski lodge. This weekend Maggie and her family are going to check it out and perhaps even buy the place on the spot. But Maggie doesn´t want to move to a run-down old mansion all the way up on a desolate mountain, and the ghost that lives there doesn´t want the Kims there either… a ghost that will stop at nothing to get his way.
